We are using the PDF Converter in one of our products and are trying to get it to work in the Citrix environment. It works fine in one Citrix environment, but in another we get the error ‘Printer Not Activated, error code -41â€.
We are using version 2.50g-4 of the converter. The OS is Windows Server 2003.
I've seen that error code -41 is returned when attempting to activate the driver with a key for a previous version of the driver. I don't believe that is the case here - there is only one copy of the driver on the system, and we are using the correct key for activation.
We've tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no change in behavior.
I've also read posts about saying a ‘Per User’ version of the driver must be used in the Citrix Environment. Everything works in other Citrix environments for us though - just failing in this new one.
Any suggestions for diagnosing this are appreciated.
Joe

Hello,
Please copy/paste your licensee name and activation code from the system that is working to the system that is not and try it.

Thanks Joan.
We set the activation code in our source code - we're using the developer version. This all works in all of our Citrix environments except one, where we're getting the error -41. I can set the activiation code on the property page for the driver, but my souce code will reset it when it runs.
What else can we try?

Hello Joe,
Aren't you using the same source code on all Citrix machines.
If our code is resetting the activation code to an old one I would say that you didn't change all the instances of your code where you are calling EnablePrinter().
If this is still not working please contact support@amyuni.com, our Technical Support Engineers will help you resolve this issue and you can then post the resolution here.

Thanks Joan. You're suggestion about checking the Licensee worked for us. On the machine that was not working, the Licensee was set to "N/A:" when viewing the about page on printer properties. We reset that to our company name (as is shown on all our working systems), and it's working.
Not clear how this happened - we're looking at our install.
