Our application uses the CDIntf.dll with direct links (ie not ActiveX) and in some cases the process works perfect. We have a few sites where they are not able to get anything printed on the pages, just blank pages. We do get the right number of pages as the right page size, just no text.
It appears to work for some users without problems (me for instance) and we have some users that say it worked and now it doesn't.
At one site it works OK for 2 of the users but one user only gets the blank pages.
A user at one site reported that it worked once then he did it again and it did not work.
Real weird!!
Our app is installed on a central server and the workstations run it from there using a shortcut icon. Nothing is loaded onto the workstations.
When the app starts we do a LoadLibrary to load the CDIntf.dll from the application folder and set the link points and all is OK at that point. Our print process DOES get a link to the PDF printer handle.
The DLL we are using is v 1.55 (according to the PDF file output).
Any ideas??
