Good afternoon,
I am using PDF Converter version 2.0.8 with Visual Basic .NET. I am attempting to merge PDF files created using Crystal Reports 9 into a single PDF file using the Append function. The function processes the PDF files without throwing any exceptions; however, the merged document is severely garbled after the first page. Interestingly, any graphs or charts on the merged PDF are not garbled.
Is this a known issue? Do files being merged with PDF Converter have to be created with PDF converter?
Thanks,
Bryan Steiger
Garbled pages in merged PDF files
Hi,
The merging / concatenate functions support all pdf files generated by the PDF Converter and most of the pdf files generated by other drivers but not all of them.
In each new version of the driver we are supporting more pdf files.
Please try to use version 2.08c of the PDF Converter, this update is available at: http://www.amyuni.com/en/support/updates.html
Also you may try to print your pdf files to the PDF Converter printer while enabling Font Embedding and then merge the new pdf files. This is a workaround that may help in some cases.
Hope this helps !
