One of the software packages we use adds a printer that turns anything you print into a PDF file. It uses y'all's "PDF Compatible Printer
Driver". One of the files ACFPDF.DRV is called "Amyuni PDF Converter: and has a version number of 1.58. When you try to load it on .NET RC2, it gives an error that says:
"Installing PDF printer
Error Code: 1930
The printer driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers."
It seems like I remember reading about a policy you can set that fixes this
but I don't remember what it is. Is there an update to this?
Any ideas?
Tanks,
Arch Willingham
Any way to get PDFINSTALL.EXE to work with .NET server?

Hello Arch,
The issue you have encountered is a result of the way windowsXP/.Net handles user mode drivers. There is a work around this for any one using version 2.06 or lower. If you email support@amyuni.com we can sent it you.
Also as of version 2.07 of the PDF Converter we have modified our installation and this issue no longer exists with WinXp.
Hope this helps
