Gaps between letters using courier font

Hello,

When using courier and sending it through pdf-converter 2.10h my pdf-file looks funny.
I'm not sure it's courier and the letters have big gaps between them.

Using Courier New, which are a TrueType Font gets a good result.

Can't I use courier?

I have tried to set Font embedding but the result doesn't get better.

Any ideas?
