Printer not activated, error code -60 is raised from service

Hi,
We are receiving “Printer not activated, error code -60” with Amyuni PDF Converter v 5.0.

It works successfully with our desktop application as well as “Print Test Page” in properties. However it fails with service application, though the service is local to the machine. We did notice the document in print queue, but the pdf is not getting generated on completion of it. EventViewer log shows the above error message. Same service application works fine on that machine if we install Amyuni 4.5 or earlier versions.

We came to know that from amyuni 5.0, the licensing model has slightly changed.
Licenses are also now dependant on the operating system that the Amyuni PDF Converter is going to be installed on(Desktop application version and server application version)

Is there anything to do with developer edition of server application license?

Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

Hello,

Typically the error code -60 occurs when running the Amyuni PDF Converter with a desktop application license on a server.

If you are going to run your application as a service you may simple need to also purchase a server license. Please send your licensing information to support@amyuni.com and they’ll send you an evaluation code for you to test if this is the case.
