You can use compression for images in your PDF file. We would also recommend saving the file in View mode only, rather than Design mode, if you have finished making changes to the document. These options are to be found in the FileSaveOptions of the Document Properties. Saving the file in Design mode will keep all information pertaining to the different design elements of the document, saving it in View only will discard this info. This means that you will no longer be able to make changes to the existing objects, but the resulting file is much smaller.
