Hello,
The situation with the "cancel" button you have encountered is actually being resolved by our development team. We expect to have a "fix" available in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks

I've downloaded the latest version and now get an exception on when I click Cancel or the X.

Hello,
This is the correct behaviour of the PDF Creator. The product will generate an exception if the user presses cancel and it is up to the developer to trap this exception.
Hope this helps?
