Comma in filename

Post by pnewton »

Hello,

I am using the 2.05d Developer edition of the Amyuni PDF Converter. I am using Visual Basic 6 SP5. I am trying to print to a folder that has a comma in the path (i.e. X:\Smith, John\Report\MyReport.pdf). When I try to print to this folder, I get a general "there was an error printing to X:\Smith_John\Report\MyReport.pdf" error (please note the "_" where the comma should be). Can you please tell me if it is possible to print to a folder structure that has a comma in it?

Thank you very much.

Yes, this is possible using the newer versions of the driver.

Please download our latest version 2.10 and try it.

If you have a maintenance plan you can download the upgrade free of charge from: http://www.amyuni.com/en/support/updates.html
If not, you may download a demo version from http://www.amyuni.com/en/products/pdf_c ... /demo.html and try it before ordering the upgrade.

Hope this helps.

Dear Joan,

Thank you very much! I downloaded the trial version of the latest PDF Converter and tested it - it worked fine. I am now purchasing the upgrade and will implement that as soon as I have it.
