[Solved] PDF encryption
We are currently using the professional version of the PDF Converter driver, invoking it through the DLL interface. Re: What are the features you are missing in our tools?
Thank you Joanna,
I tried writing to the support but then discovered we have a standard maintenance plan, so no way
Well.. I'll wait until it is available to the public
What really matters is that you are working on it, hope you'll have it working soon
Have a nice day!

Hello Jose thank you for your attention... that's a good question :) First of all, please notice that in my scenario “C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AMYUNI†is not a folder, it is a file .. I agree with you that probably the setup doesn't create it. As a matter of fact (when printing) there is a process ca...

Hello Jose, thanks for the reply :) I'm pretty sure you don't write anything down there, it is something every windows developer knows as a bad practise :) However we traced the system with ProcessMonitor (sysinternals) when it was printing (well.. when was trying to.. :P) and a process involved in ...

A "standard" installer
We use the PDF Converter printer drivers.
It would be really good if you could distribute your drivers as Microsoft Installer packages (MSI) and/or as Merge Modules, to ease integration in a standard deploy framework!

As an update to what I posted above, we've tried the same kind of setup on a Win2003 terminal-server machine which runs on a 32bit architecture (not x64). It worked like a charm without the need to fix permissions or change further settings... In a try to reproduce our customer's worst case scenario...

Odd file versions for acfpdfu/ui.dll
I was trying to integrate PDF converter's drivers into our app's installation. We have the 2.50f drivers in "production" packages, but are trying to move to the 3.0. We make use of windows installer (MSI) and need to be Vista-compliant. Anyway I had a hard time figuring out an issue when u...
