Re: What registry changes are needed for “Spool print ...."?
Thanks, this is a really great tip, I was using a direct registry hack (by reverse engineering the values) then stopping and restarting the spooler. This solution seems a lot better.

Re: PDF Converter 4.0 Receives Windows 7 Logo Certification
I just found 4.0.0.8 (which actually has some references and DLLs that are of version 4.0.0.9) on the Amyuni customer download site.

Re: problem with activation
Hi Devteam, as I mentioned in the other thread linked to above, your code for automatically setting the rights to this key on installation only works for English OS. Anyone that installs Amyuni on a non-English OS will have to set the rights themselves (via script or manually). I suggested to you to...

Re: Problem as Standard User on non-English Vista OS
I'm a user, not working for Amyuni, but for my InstallShield, what I did was use the sample of GrantFullRegAccess here: http://community.acresso.com/showthread.php?t=168440 but I found out GrantFullRegAccess is missing one line in the switch statement: it should also have: case HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG: ...

Problem as Standard User on non-English Vista OS
On non-English Vista OS you are not setting the permissions of HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\<PDF printer name> to include "Everyone" read/write. This means that standard user will get -20 activation error since it cannot write to the registry key. I think this is because you're using the h...

Re: Word 2007 hangs on Vista 64
check your version of acpdf400.dll and acpdfui400.dll in: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3 C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\x64 if they're anything older than 0.3.0.4003 then you've got an old version that has the problem. Delete these manually from each folder and reboot, then reinstall the...

I'm curious about the handle leak as well - I see that it's happening in 4.0 but not in 3.03e.

Re: error code -20 on Win2K os
just a note of warning though, the one that I was sent still had version 4.0.0.3 showing in the properties of the acpdf DLLs, even though versions.txt listed 4.0.0.4. But the fact that the versions.txt exists makes me believe that the fix is included. I tested it on Win2k and it worked fine.

Re: Word 2007 hangs on Vista 64
hi forw, I'm another client, and I was sent via email a version of this that was 4.0.0.3 but it had versions.txt with 4.0.0.4 listed in the notes. This version solved the -30 problem for me. I don't think it's available as a download link. But I didn't think it did fix the problem, until I got instr...
