DOCX Options

Use the options from the DOCX Options tab to set options of Headers and Footers, Font embedding and other particular settings.

 

To Select DOCX Options:

  1. Click the DOCX Options tab.

  2. Select the following options:

 

Option

Function

Headers and Footers

To specify the optional header and footer generation in a document. These include:

To Use:
  • Header: Enable and specify height in mm of a header

  • Footer: Enable and specify height in mm of a footer

  • Resize margin: Value in mm to resize the top or bottom margins to Number of pages after which to start auto discovery of header or footer content

Font Embedding

To include all used fonts used in the generated DOCX file. This creates a larger file but ensures consistent document display across different platforms.

To Use:

Select or clear the Font embedding check box or its sub-check boxes to turn these options ON or OFF. Additional font embedding options include:

  • Partial font embedding: To set the Amyuni DOCX Converter to embed only portions of the font file that are used by the source document.

  • Embed standard fonts: To set the Amyuni DOCX Converter to embed Arial and Times New Roman fonts. These fonts are not embedded by default as they are provided with Acrobat® reader.

  • Embed licensed fonts: To set the Amyuni DOCX Converter to embed fonts that require a license from their manufacturer.

System Fonts

Whenever possible, use the fonts installed on the system rather than the fonts embedded in the PDF file.

OCR

To convert image to text. There are two options:

-      Only for text objects: This is used when the text looks non legible.

-      All page content: This includes text drawn with polygons

This function uses an external library which its path needs to be configured in the OCR Data Path and the language of the text
