Hello,
I'm trying to use the PDF converter on a Citrix client. The converter works fine from each of the two clients, who have the access to it. Unfortunately only one can convert at a time. If both are trying to invoke a PDF session, at the same time, the one get's an 'Printer not activated' error or just don't get any PDF generated.
The convertion is done by activating a preinstalled Amyuni writer called 'ExProPDF'. The version is 2.50a. The writer was installed on the Citrix server by calling install.exe with parameter "ExProPDF".
Somehow the printer must have been installed in a wrong way, since it can not be shared by different clients at the same time.
How should it be installed or activated, to solve this?
Kind regards, Benny
Using PDF converter in Citrix environment
Hello,
I am sure you already resolved this issue, i am adding this reply as general information for other users who may come across this post.
In a Citrix environment it is advisable to get the Per User version of the PDF Converter. For more infromation please check support@amyuni.com
Also if you are printing programmatically in a multithreading environment you can use the Locking functions of CDIntfEx to avoid conflicts between print jobs.
